LEGOLAND® Malaysia Resort Kicks Off BRICKFEST 2026: Football Edition with Stadium-Style Challenges and LEGO® Builds

The football-themed event transforms the resort into an immersive playground inspired by the excitement of the World Cup season.

ISKANDAR PUTERI, 22 May 2026 – This World Cup season, families visiting LEGOLAND® Malaysia Resort can expect football obstacle courses, LEGO® trophy builds, live performances, and stadium-style celebrations as BRICKFEST 2026: Football Edition takes over the resort from 22 May to 19 July 2026.

 

Designed around the “Journey of Becoming a Football Star”, the annual event invites guests to step into a world of football, where creativity, teamwork and play come together through hands-on activities and interactive challenges across the park.

 

Guests can pick up a Mission Card at the “Brick Kick-Off” station before taking on a series of football-themed experiences aimed at testing both skill and imagination.

 

“Football is usually something families watch together, but BRICKFEST is designed to let them become part of the action,” said Cs Lim, Vice President of LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort. “This year’s Football Edition brings together the energy of the football season with the creativity of LEGO play, giving families new ways to build, compete and create memories together.”

 

Build, Play and Train Like a Football Champion

Across the resort, families can explore a variety of football-inspired activity zones with their Mission Cards. Highlights include:

 

- Brick-tastic Arena: Tactic-based zone where kids dribble a football through LEGO-themed obstacles to test their speed and control.

- Brick Strike Challenge: A goal-scoring challenge focused on aim, speed and accuracy.  

- Build-A-Football: A hands-on activity where guests can construct their very own LEGO mini football. 

- LEGO Jersey Mural: A collaborative building activity where participants create a colorful mural using LEGO bricks shaped like team jerseys. 

- Brick Table Football: A custom LEGO mechanical striker game where players aim and score goals.  

- Build-A-Trophy: Kids can design and build their own LEGO trophy creations. 

- 6 Bricks Challenge: A quick-fire creative task using only six LEGO bricks. 

- Spin Like a Striker: A 360° spin camera photo experience to capture victory poses and action shots.

 

The football atmosphere continues throughout the day with live entertainment and performances at The Beginning Stage, such as a Kick-Off opening performance and a Farewell Show each day. To bring the football atmosphere to a fever pitch, guests can also watch the Brick Bash & Mix, where LEGO Factory heroes team up to remix LEGO magic spectacularly, and the LEGO Trophy Chase, a sprint of teamwork and problem-solving. 

 

Guests will also have the chance to meet the stars of the event—Brick Suit Girl and Brick Suit Boy—new mascots bursting with color and football spirit.

 

Beyond the activity zones, families can also participate in the “Goal to Win” lucky draw. Families who spend RM199 or more in a single receipt are entitled to enter, with winners announced daily after the Farewell Show. 

 

As a special tribute to local football fans, LEGOLAND Malaysia Resorts will also unveil the iconic Sultan Ibrahim Stadium in LEGO form at MINILAND at the end of June, featuring Johor’s beloved football team recreated in LEGO bricks.
