Galeri Khazanah, making Malaysian art accessible to all
Khazanah Nasional Berhad (“Khazanah”), the sovereign wealth fund of Malaysia, recently launched its virtual art gallery, Galeri Khazanah, to showcase its art collection and make art more accessible to local and international audiences alike.
Since its inception in 1994, Khazanah has been gradually collecting artworks, in various media and styles, produced by local artists in a bid to preserve and promote Malaysian art and talent which includes oil, acrylic and batik paintings, artifacts, sculptures, drawings and photographs.
Beyond its financial responsibilities, Khazanah takes on a duty to protect, preserve and develop national assets as part of its strategy in Advancing Malaysia.
We invite you to take a virtual tour for a glimpse into Malaysia's rich cultural heritage through the perspective of Malaysian artists.
