SALES & MARKETING

Plans, develops, and manages the sales activities of LEGOLAND Malaysia, locally, regionally, and nationally.  Ensures sales attendance and revenue strategies and goals are determined and achieved to support the opening and operating plans.  Continually evaluates sales programs to compete successfully with other local and regional attractions and theme parks and stays abreast of industry trends.  Directs and manages a staff of sales representatives and support staff and annual budget.  Ensures the development of effective partnerships and working relationships with industry, corporations, associations, community groups, schools, military, government, and other groups to achieve sales goals.

You will be responsible for your subordinate(s), providing them the required support, motivation and leadership practices that aligned with the Merlin core values.

To reply and respond to guests’ enquiries either through phone calls or electronic mail pertaining to products & services, admission, or accommodation and to handle bookings/reservation.  This role is to ensure that every enquiry is attended with courteous and professional as well as the information communicated must be accurate thus, reaching to guests’ objective and expectation.

COMMERCIAL

Helps the outlet chef, control and coordinate the activities of all operation and Commis II & III, engaged in preparing and cooking food, to ensure an efficient, profitable and smooth food service at all times.

Process guest billing of settlement and proceed for cashier closing base on the daily meal period. Must present a positive and professional attitude at all times.  Must be able to offer friendly and efficient cashier service to all guests.  Must be able to learn and adapt to various line positions within location. Be able to apply the knowledge of LEGOLAND profit protection procedure and cashier rules and regulation.

This role is responsible for the operation of the retail shop. Performs a variety of duties related to display and sale of merchandise items including preparing inventory for sale, processing sales, maintaining retail locations and ensuring positive guest service to park visitors.

PARK OPERATIONS

The Superhero Squad is responsible for executing the daily assignment to support the day-to-day business operations in the respective outlet within the Park Operations or Commercial Operations. You will exude an infectious passion for delivering world-class memorable experiences

EVENTS & ENTERTAINMENT

Responsible for the event production and coordination for LEGOLAND® Theme Park, Water Park and SEA LIFE™ Malaysia. You work closely with all departments to support the E&E Manager into his role of delivering the event program.

Responsible for the show production to support themed events as well as regular entertainment for LEGOLAND® Theme Park and Water Park. You are extended hand of Events Assistant Manager in the providing high-quality entertainment, both related to the specific event themes and generic theme of LEGO brand for daily based entertainment.

Responsible for the show creation to present at LEGOLAND® Theme Park and Water Park for supporting themed events as well as regular entertainment. You are the one behind the productions of dance works, parades, musical stage show, street performance and face characters. 

To provide operational support to the Events & Entertainment Manager / Entertainment Assistant Manager on the daily operations of the resort’s shows, entertainment and events.

To manage the show. He/She presents as “Stage Manager” who manage people: performer, crew, and audience.

The role of a Costume & Make Up Assistant is to support the onstage-looks for entire shows/performances in the resort. Performances include stage show, street performance, face character, mascot appearance, parade, and any other entertainment related tasks.

To support the entire shows/performances in the resort. Performances include playing character roles or puppeteers who control and animate puppets for the Ninjago live performance and any other entertainment related tasks.

 

WATER PARK

Responsible to execute task assigned to support the day-to-day Water Park Operations including manpower scheduling, assigning tasks to team mates, coaching, maintaining the cleanliness of the facility, test rides and the well-being of the team members. You will oversee the safety of Water Park guests by monitoring the attraction to prevent accidents and ensuring the comfort of our guest in the Water Park area.  You are to work amicably with all team members in the department to ensure all Attractions areas are clean and safe to meet/exceed company’s KPI standard.

Responsible for overseeing the slides in the Water Park Attractions and the safety of the guests.  You are to abide to the LEGOLAND Water Park policies and procedures. You are required to assist water park guests in distress and to provide First Aid and CPR as needed including other duties as assigned.  You are also responsible for general cleanliness around the Water Park.

SEA LIFE AQUARIUM

Responsible for ensuring consistently high standards of display presentation, life support system operation, animal husbandry and care. To ensure consistently high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and professionalism throughout all aquarium areas. To support the running and maintenance of all off show areas including quarantine and husbandry of animals.

HOTEL

Front Office Assistant responsible for guest registration, guest check-out and cashiering. The position is also responsible for facilitating or providing assistance in case of guest queries/requests. The Associate shall provide efficient service to guests at the Front Desk and ensure implementation of policies and procedures in line with the standards of LEGOLAND Hotel Malaysia.

Work under the direction of the Chief Steward and Steward Supervisor to ensure cleanliness of all kitchen areas, banquet and all kitchen operating equipment, stores and refrigerators and related areas.

The role as Senior F&B Assistant is responsible for serving food and beverages in restaurant efficiently and in a most courteous manner. Carry out all duties in accordance with tasks and descriptions with reference to established rule s and policies. To provide a friendly and efficient service to all the guest by presenting a positive and professional attitude at all times. Processing their requests and orders to ensure all items are prepared properly on a timely basis. To also have a thorough working knowledge of the LEGOLAND safety, sanitation and cleanliness standards. In addition, responsible in controls cash, labor and food preparation and presentation within LEGOLAND Malaysia standard and policy. 

The role as F&B Assistant is responsible for serving food and beverages in restaurant efficiently and in a most courteous manner. Carry out all duties in accordance with tasks and descriptions with reference to established rule s and policies. To provide a friendly and efficient service to all the guest by presenting a positive and professional attitude at all times. Processing their requests and orders to ensure all items are prepared properly on a timely basis. To also have a thorough working knowledge of the LEGOLAND safety, sanitation and cleanliness standards.

Responsible to ensure and follow training standards of the kitchen and to control and coordinate the activities.  Maintain high quality food taste and presentation and to guide Commis II & III team members in food preparation. You will be preparing and cooking food while ensuring process efficiency to achieve a smooth operation at all times.

Responsible to provide cleaning service to guest rooms and respond to guest requests ensuring maximum guest satisfaction in accordance to Hotel established standards. You are required to keep guest floors and surrounding service areas in accordance to the standard required by our hotel.

MAINTENANCE

Responsible for supporting and assisting the maintenance department to track and administer the training compliance related to safety and procedures across the department focusing on ride related maintenance operations.

Responsible to carry out the maintenance works including repairing, trouble-shooting, inspection, preventive maintenance for the electrical equipment in LLMR.  You will be required to offer help, guide and support the other technicians in completing the assignment delegated. You are expected to comply with the local authority requirement, Merlin operations and the safety standard. You will work closely with the team and support the maintenance activities/initiatives to achieve the department objectives.

To ensure for the safety and the efficiency of SEA LIFE Malaysia, M&E equipment primarily the Aquarium’s Life Support Systems. The role requires hands on within the Maintenance Department and a direct impact on internal and external guest satisfaction within the attraction and especially your actions in terms of quality, safety and efficiency. The Facility M&E Senior Technician will assist in all aspects of scheduled and unscheduled Maintenance within the Attraction. This must be done to the highest standard. You are expected to comply with the local authority requirement, Merlin operations and the safety standards. You will work closely with the team and support the maintenance activities/initiatives to achieve the departments’ objectives.

Responsible for the safety and the efficiency of the maintenance operations at the Park.  You have a complete hands-on role in the department and will have an impact on internal and external guest satisfaction with your actions in terms of quality, safety and efficiency. The Facility Technician will support in all aspects of scheduled and unscheduled Maintenance within the resort. This must be done to the highest standard. You are expected to comply with the local authority requirement, Merlin operations and the safety standard. You will work closely with the team and support the maintenance activities/initiatives to achieve the department objectives.

Responsible for maintaining and up-keeping the landscape and ground areas looking attractive, neat, conducive and safe for guests and model citizens.

HEALTH, SAFETY & SECURITY

Render first aid assistance to guests and employees in a safe environment in LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort in accordance to the First Aid Standard Procedure. You are always the first one at the scene of the accident and are responsible for the initial assessment of a patient’s condition.
