MAINTENANCE

Responsible to set direction for the Technical Services function at LEGOLAND Malaysia and ensure alignment to the overall Merlin Group Engineering strategy.  As an experienced people manager, you will provide proactive and visible functional leadership of your team of up to 100 employees, including the Rides Engineering, Facilities, Hotels Maintenance, Compliance, LEGO Model Shop and Landscape departments. In the role as Technical Services Director, you will direct the teams to deliver maintenance of rides and attractions; to deliver safety in operation, outstanding performance, and industry leading asset availability. You will also complete strategic planning of annual Engineering, Facilities (hard and soft), Landscape and park conservation activities; ensuring the department is well set up and sufficiently resourced to deliver, asset availability targets, improvement of park infrastructure and business KPI’s. You’ll also need to use a Planned Preventative Maintenance approach, managing asset and estate maintenance, ensuring the delivery of key operational targets (ride availability, throughput, capacity, and guest satisfaction).

Mechanical Technician is responsible to carry out the maintenance works including repairing, trouble-shooting, inspection, preventive maintenance for mechanical equipment in LLMR. You are expected to comply with the local authority requirement, Merlin operations and the safety standard. You will work closely with the team and support the maintenance activities/initiatives to achieve the department objectives.

Responsible for water quality maintenance for all the pools and water feature at the resort.  Duties include operating filtration and auto dosing system; and perform water sampling activities. You are expected to comply with the local authority requirement, Merlin operations and the health & safety standard. You are to work amicably with other Water Quality team members to ensure the water quality are maintained, clean and safe to meet/exceed company’s KPI standard.

Responsible for assisting the Rides Mechanical Manager on the day-to-day maintenance operations in electrical and control system functions and delivery of assigned tasks/duties. Keeping both guests and Model Citizens safe is the departmental priority. You are to work amicably with other Mechanical team members to ensure the rides are well maintained and safe to meet/exceed company’s KPI standard.

SALES & MARKETING

Reply and respond to guests’ enquiries either through phone calls or electronic mail pertaining to products & services, admission, or accommodation and to handle bookings/reservation.  This role is to ensure that every enquiry is attended with courteous and professional as well as the information communicated must be accurate thus, reaching to guests’ objective and expectation.

Plans, develops, and manages the sales activities of LEGOLAND Malaysia, locally, regionally, and nationally.  Ensures sales attendance and revenue strategies and goals are determined and achieved to support the opening and operating plans.  Continually evaluates sales programs to compete successfully with other local and regional attractions and theme parks and stays abreast of industry trends.  Directs and manages a staff of sales representatives and support staff and annual budget.  Ensures the development of effective partnerships and working relationships with industry, corporations, associations, community groups, schools, military, government, and other groups to achieve sales goals.

You will be responsible for your subordinate(s), providing them the required support, motivation and leadership practices that aligned with the Merlin core values.

FINANCE

IT Park Support role is to provide mostly on-site user and system support covering corporately approved technologies or applications used on the desktop, laptops, point-of-sales terminal, infrastructure within the organization. You will embrace customer skill, good technical acumen, and communication skill to assist and advise users to ensure customer satisfaction. You shall understand how Information Technology applies in our organization to support the business requirements and demand.

HOTEL

To oversee all property operations, ensuring that the highest levels of hospitality and service are provided. This position represents in the important area of relations with the guest, resolving any guest related situation. You are responsible to take care of the hotel guest requirements and handle effectively their complaints and act where service or equipment is not functioning.

You will have the ability to communicate, interact and support your superior in the department by exhibiting your best practices that aligned with the Merlin core values. You will also be required to exemplify your best behaviour and work well with other team members in the department/organization and to carry out assignments that are delegated by your superior in a timely manner.

Front Office Assistant responsible for guest registration, guest check-out and cashiering. The position is also responsible for facilitating or providing assistance in case of guest queries/requests. The Associate shall provide efficient service to guests at the Front Desk and ensure implementation of policies and procedures in line with the standards of LEGOLAND Hotel Malaysia.

Work under the direction of the Chief Steward and Steward Supervisor to ensure cleanliness of all kitchen areas, banquet and all kitchen operating equipment, stores and refrigerators and related areas.

PARK OPERATIONS

Provide operational support to the Admission Department. You are responsible for the information service, ticket sales, online support, cash handling, answering guest’s enquiries on VIP and Educational Programs, admission and ticket control. In addition, you are also responsible for your people’s development and competency that leads to building high performance team and delivering highest standard of guest satisfaction.

Responsible for supervising, monitoring, and attending to park rides, including boarding and securing passengers, starting rides, and ensuring passengers exit safely. You will exude an infectious passion for delivering world-class memorable experiences. The Attractions Supervisor is to provide operational support to the Attractions Department. You are responsible to oversee the day-to-day park rides and their operations. You will manage the area of Team Leads, including making their schedules, approving orders, dealing with employee discipline to recruiting new employees. 

 

 

 

Responsible for supporting the daily theme park attractions operations. You will support the Attractions Supervisors in manpower planning, assigning duties to Attractions Assistants, handling daily employee issues and providing guidance to new team members.  In addition, you are also responsible for your team’s productivity, competency that leads to building high performance team and delivering highest standard of guest satisfaction. The Senior Education Assistant role is to work together and support the Education Assistants to immerse guest in the Technic and Imagination Zone. You will exude an infectious passion for delivering world-class memorable experiences.

The Superhero Squad is responsible for executing the daily assignment to support the day-to-day business operations in the respective outlet within the Park Operations or Commercial Operations. You will exude an infectious passion for delivering world-class memorable experiences

Responsible for day-to-day grounds operations tasks assigned at the Parks. You will exude an infectious passion for delivering world-class memorable experiences for our guests. You are to maintain a friendly, safe, clean and comfortable environment in the park.

WATER PARK

 

Oversees and leads the daily operations of all slides, pools, and attractions within the Water Park and Hotel area at LEGOLAND Malaysia. Enhancing the department and company performance by taking ownership of various initiatives as scheduled while exploring opportunities to add value to department performance and results. Establishes and maintains all procedural, safety and Guest Service standards. Has responsibility for leadership and management of Water Park supervisor, head lifeguards, lifeguards, and slide attendants (MCs) and supports other operational and commercial interests.

Responsible to execute task assigned to support the day-to-day Water Park Operations including manpower scheduling, assigning tasks to team mates, coaching, maintaining the cleanliness of the facility, test rides and the well-being of the team members. You will oversee the safety of Water Park guests by monitoring the attraction to prevent accidents and ensuring the comfort of our guest in the Water Park area.  You are to work amicably with all team members in the department to ensure all Attractions areas are clean and safe to meet/exceed company’s KPI standard.

Responsible for overseeing the slides in the Water Park Attractions and the safety of the guests.  You are to abide to the LEGOLAND Water Park policies and procedures. You are required to assist water park guests in distress and to provide First Aid and CPR as needed including other duties as assigned.  You are also responsible for general cleanliness around the Water Park.

HEALTH, SAFETY & SECURITY

Render first aid assistance to guests and employees in a safe environment in LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort in accordance to the First Aid Standard Procedure. You are always the first one at the scene of the accident and are responsible for the initial assessment of a patient’s condition.
