How to Join
- Choose one category to enter.
- Register at The Castle Area between 5:00pm and 6:00pm.
- Be ready to present your costume to the judges.
Registration closes at 6:00pm. Late entries will not be accepted.
For family or group entries, all members must be present during judging.
CHOOSE YOUR CATEGORY
Family Costume
- Open to families of at least two participants, including one adult.
- Coordinate your costumes around a shared theme and be ready to give the judges a short introduction.
Judged on: Coordination, creativity, originality and presentation.
Most Creative Costume
- Open to individuals or groups.
- Showcase an original idea—handmade, recycled and upcycled elements are encouraged.
- Be ready to share the inspiration behind your creation.
Judged on: Originality, creativity, craftsmanship, use of materials and visual impact.
Mischievous Monster
- Open to individuals or groups.
- Bring a monster, creature, villain, ghost, zombie or other Halloween character to life with your costume, makeup or props.
- Feel free to pose or perform in character!
Judged on: Characterisation, design, creativity, makeup and presentation.
Best Look-Alike
- Individuals only.
- Dress up as a recognizable person, character or icon.
- Let us know who you're portraying at registration, and be ready to pose or perform briefly in character.
Judged on: likeness, accuracy, detail, characterization, presentation
COSTUME GUIDELINES
- Costumes must be family-friendly and suitable for a theme park setting.
- Offensive, political or religiously sensitive content is not permitted.
- Real weapons, sharp objects and hazardous props are not allowed.
- Costumes must allow safe movement. Masks and headpieces must not obstruct your vision.
- Participants are responsible for their costumes, props and personal belongings.
- Judges’ decisions are final. The organiser reserves the right to disqualify any entry or behaviour that does not meet these guidelines.
- By participating, you agree to be photographed or recorded for event and promotional purposes.
