SALES & MARKETING

Plans, develops, and manages the sales activities of LEGOLAND Malaysia, locally, regionally, and nationally.  Ensures sales attendance and revenue strategies and goals are determined and achieved to support the opening and operating plans.  Continually evaluates sales programs to compete successfully with other local and regional attractions and theme parks and stays abreast of industry trends.  Directs and manages a staff of sales representatives and support staff and annual budget.  Ensures the development of effective partnerships and working relationships with industry, corporations, associations, community groups, schools, military, government, and other groups to achieve sales goals.

You will be responsible for your subordinate(s), providing them the required support, motivation and leadership practices that aligned with the Merlin core values.

HUMAN RESOURCES

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) partners closely with line managers to proactively drive the business priorities in their respective area. Scope and deliver HR initiatives which drive a consistent and engaging employee experience across both divisions; provide ongoing support to the HR Business Partner Manager in all people matters.

FINANCE

As a key member of the senior leadership team you are responsible to oversee all company financial activities to ensure it stays in strong financial standing and  ensuring the business is supported on all financial matters and ensuring that all financial obligations are met. 

COMMERCIAL

Helps the outlet chef, control and coordinate the activities of all operation and Commis II & III, engaged in preparing and cooking food, to ensure an efficient, profitable and smooth food service at all times.

Process guest billing of settlement and proceed for cashier closing base on the daily meal period. Must present a positive and professional attitude at all times.  Must be able to offer friendly and efficient cashier service to all guests.  Must be able to learn and adapt to various line positions within location. Be able to apply the knowledge of LEGOLAND profit protection procedure and cashier rules and regulation.

This role is responsible for the operation of the retail shop. Performs a variety of duties related to display and sale of merchandise items including preparing inventory for sale, processing sales, maintaining retail locations and ensuring positive guest service to park visitors.

PARK OPERATIONS

The Superhero Squad is responsible for executing the daily assignment to support the day-to-day business operations in the respective outlet within the Park Operations or Commercial Operations. You will exude an infectious passion for delivering world-class memorable experiences

WATER PARK

 

Oversees and leads the daily operations of all slides, pools, and attractions within the Water Park and Hotel area at LEGOLAND Malaysia. Enhancing the department and company performance by taking ownership of various initiatives as scheduled while exploring opportunities to add value to department performance and results. Establishes and maintains all procedural, safety and Guest Service standards. Has responsibility for leadership and management of Water Park supervisor, head lifeguards, lifeguards, and slide attendants (MCs) and supports other operational and commercial interests.

Responsible to execute task assigned to support the day-to-day Water Park Operations including manpower scheduling, assigning tasks to team mates, coaching, maintaining the cleanliness of the facility, test rides and the well-being of the team members. You will oversee the safety of Water Park guests by monitoring the attraction to prevent accidents and ensuring the comfort of our guest in the Water Park area.  You are to work amicably with all team members in the department to ensure all Attractions areas are clean and safe to meet/exceed company’s KPI standard.

Responsible for overseeing the slides in the Water Park Attractions and the safety of the guests.  You are to abide to the LEGOLAND Water Park policies and procedures. You are required to assist water park guests in distress and to provide First Aid and CPR as needed including other duties as assigned.  You are also responsible for general cleanliness around the Water Park.

SEA LIFE AQUARIUM

Responsible for Aquarium operation functions and education programs including the Animal Ambassadors. This position will oversee all educators, performers, and operation MCs, ensuring that the highest safety, customer satisfaction and cleanliness standards are adhered to. Position will be accountable for KPI scores, as well as meeting education booking numbers relative to forecast. This position will ensure that all education programs meet the needs of formal and/or informal teaching institutions. This position is responsible for all budgets relating to the operation functions and education programs as noted below.

Responsible for ensuring consistently high standards of display presentation, life support system operation, animal husbandry and care. To ensure consistently high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and professionalism throughout all aquarium areas. To support the running and maintenance of all off show areas including quarantine and husbandry of animals.

HOTEL

Front Office Assistant responsible for guest registration, guest check-out and cashiering. The position is also responsible for facilitating or providing assistance in case of guest queries/requests. The Associate shall provide efficient service to guests at the Front Desk and ensure implementation of policies and procedures in line with the standards of LEGOLAND Hotel Malaysia.

Work under the direction of the Chief Steward and Steward Supervisor to ensure cleanliness of all kitchen areas, banquet and all kitchen operating equipment, stores and refrigerators and related areas.

F&B Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating the all activities of personnel engaged in serving food and beverages in the restaurant. Supports and assists the Restaurant and Assistant Restaurant Manager in the daily operation of the restaurant including standing in for them whenever necessary. You are also responsible for food quality, guest service, cash handling and financial controls. Participates in on the job training and counseling of MC’s ensuring that they consistently achieve the high standards demanded by LEGOLAND Malaysia. Ensures that all sanitation and safety procedures are implemented and maintained.

The role as Senior F&B Assistant is responsible for serving food and beverages in restaurant efficiently and in a most courteous manner. Carry out all duties in accordance with tasks and descriptions with reference to established rule s and policies. To provide a friendly and efficient service to all the guest by presenting a positive and professional attitude at all times. Processing their requests and orders to ensure all items are prepared properly on a timely basis. To also have a thorough working knowledge of the LEGOLAND safety, sanitation and cleanliness standards. In addition, responsible in controls cash, labor and food preparation and presentation within LEGOLAND Malaysia standard and policy.

Carry out all duties in accordance with tasks and descriptions with reference to established rule s and policies. To provide a friendly and efficient service to all the guest by presenting a positive and professional attitude at all times. Processing their requests and orders to ensure all items are prepared properly on a timely basis. To also have a thorough working knowledge of the LEGOLAND safety, sanitation and cleanliness standards.

The role of a Junior Entertainer is to support the entire shows/performances in the resort. Performances include hosting, playing character roles, performing live shows and any other entertainment related tasks. You will have the ability to communicate, interact and support your team members and superior in the department by exhibiting your best practices that aligned with the Merlin core values. You will also be required to exemplify your best behaviour and work well with other team members in the department/organization and to carry out assignments that are delegated by your superior in a timely manner.

Responsible to ensure and follow training standards of the kitchen and to control and coordinate the activities.  Maintain high quality food taste and presentation and to guide Commis II & III team members in food preparation. You will be preparing and cooking food while ensuring process efficiency to achieve a smooth operation at all times.

Responsible to provide cleaning service to guest rooms and respond to guest requests ensuring maximum guest satisfaction in accordance to Hotel established standards. You are required to keep guest floors and surrounding service areas in accordance to the standard required by our hotel.

MAINTENANCE

Responsible to carry out the maintenance works including repairing, trouble-shooting, inspection, preventive maintenance for the electrical equipment in LLMR.  You will be required to offer help, guide and support the other technicians in completing the assignment delegated. You are expected to comply with the local authority requirement, Merlin operations and the safety standard. You will work closely with the team and support the maintenance activities/initiatives to achieve the department objectives.

HEALTH, SAFETY & SECURITY

Render first aid assistance to guests and employees in a safe environment in LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort in accordance to the First Aid Standard Procedure. You are always the first one at the scene of the accident and are responsible for the initial assessment of a patient’s condition.
